What is the single biggest reason you continue to choose Seed Studio over other options?
I keep going back to Seed Studio because I love the welcoming environment that the instructors create for each class. They’re so attuned to detail and form while making sure the space stays accepting, judgment-free, and fun. I always leave feeling like I’ve reconnected with my body in a way that carries into the rest of the day.
As a therapist, I spend a lot of time helping others stay grounded. But Pilates at Seed is where I get to do that for myself. It’s not just a workout; it’s a practice that steadies me physically, mentally, and emotionally. It helps me reset and reconnect with mindful presence in a way that feels restorative rather than depleting.
Other studios I’ve tried can feel competitive, overly serious, or just so crowded that you lose that sense of connection. At Seed, it’s the opposite. The classes are intentional, the instruction is personal, and the atmosphere always feels warm and human. It’s rare to find a studio that balances attention to technique with genuine care in such an authentic way.
What is the single biggest reason you continue to choose Seed Studio over other options?
I usually tell people that I leave feeling grounded and refreshed. It’s a mix of calm and energy that’s hard to find anywhere else: strong but centred, alert but relaxed. Even when I walk out into a busy day, that sense of steadiness stays with me.
What stands out most is how present I feel. As someone who is naturally restless and always on the move, Pilates at Seed is one of the few spaces where I’m not multitasking or rushing through something. I’m just fully in it. That presence carries into the rest of my day, and I notice myself moving, thinking, and even breathing differently because of it.
How has Pilates changed the way you feel while sitting at your desk during the workday?
Pilates has completely changed how I feel in my body throughout the day. I used to spend hours hunched over my computer without realizing how much tension I was holding. While I still catch myself slouching at times, I’m much more aware of it now and can correct it before it starts to take a toll. My posture feels steadier and more natural, and I notice that I hold myself with less strain and more ease. Even when work is busy, I find myself taking moments to focus on my breathing or making subtle adjustments in how I’m sitting that help me reset. Over time, it feels like my body has learned how to stay more balanced and calm, even during long or stressful days.
